Thanks to its mild climate, Eppan is an inviting destination from spring through to autumn for hiking, cycling and swimming. In spring, the apple orchards burst into blossom, summer brings warm days by the lakes, autumn is shaped by the grape harvest and the traditional Törggelen season, and even in winter many attractions and excursion destinations are within easy reach.

The provincial capital of Bolzano is renowned for its historic arcades, Walther Square, and the South Tyrol Museum of Archaeology, home to the famous Ötzi. Afterwards, explore the charming old town with its many shops, cafés, and restaurants – the perfect place for a leisurely stroll.
Merano, South Tyrol’s elegant spa town, is just a short drive from Eppan. It is famous for its beautiful promenades, the Gardens of Trauttmansdorff Castle, and its historic arcaded streets. Mediterranean vegetation, elegant Art Nouveau architecture, and the mild climate give Merano its distinctive charm.
